I really wish Phoenix could figure out a way to implement lightning addresses. I would be fine with those being received and held sort of custodially until I opened the app and claimed them or something like that.

Switching things over to my btcpay. Its a tad more delayed than Alby is with invoices, but I move most of my sats over there (or to phoenix) anyway. I mostly stayed with Alby while i was going through and testing 6ish different custodial LN address options, and I liked that the Nostr login (the extension) and wallet were in the same interface.
Didn't think about the fact that they would have limits. But if there was one, I was bound to find it 😆

Ghost address might be able to provide a non-custodial way to bridge the gap. Announcement jsut dropped a few weeks back of this new tool.
