Framing the inability to trend on Primal as "censorship" or "shadowbanning" is a massive stretch. One has to wonder about the motives of those who are piling on. Unfortunate to see the creators of some of the leading Nostr clients join the outrage.😱 😂
On the positive side, this bit of extra pressure will speed up the delivery of new tools for Primal users, who should always have the final word on content filtering.

I think keeping specific npubs from trending falls well within what would normally be called censorship. Just because it’s on Nostr doesn’t magically make it ok.
The only "trending" page that doesn't pick favorites then accuse you of ill motives for noticing
