I think a lot about how during great social upheavals unreasonable people don't get regular life outcomes. They get to be the first against the wall or they make history and really not much in between.

I am an unreasonable person. What will become of me over the next 10 years of chaos?

Don’t know brother but I know I’ll either be next to you on the wall or making history with you (or people like you).

They can't kill all of us. Cypherpunk is the way

We have to to fight and not just hide if we want to have any chance of stopping them.

I don't disagree, I just think trying to change systems head on is suicide

It is. I just note that a lot of people seem to think simply having encryption and Bitcoin will mean we magically win. The cypherpunk tools don't solve problems for us unless we use them intentionally as weapons in a broader guerrilla war.

I dont disagree that targeted action will probably be necessary. I generally subscribe to Eric's thinking on the subject. If we can get the tools good enough, and enough people to care enough, this will go a long way in reducing the State's ability to tax. The state cannot wage conflict for an extended period without taxation.

Eliminating the ability to tax will bring a lot of clarity about what is real and what is just manipulation. People need to feel the pain first

We’re sane people in an insane world.

They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society.

Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental illness.

Whatever happens, post it here so I can see.
