My experiences of Damus summarised as follows:

1. Give up browsing the Global channel - if you hate spam. Negative information will bring you negative emotions.

2. Follow as many people as you can—until you have enough content in your timeline to read. You can follow new ones from other people's follow lists. However, it is not recommended to completely copy another person's follow list.

3. Post as much as you can - if you want people to follow you. Don't feel pressure to create, just talk. The greatest value of your post is not the knowledge it provides, but a topic that others may get involved in.

4. Participate in as many discussions as possible - if you want more people to follow and get to know you. Replying to others’ posts is an easier and more efficient way of writing than posting original posts.

5. Stop debating when you feel it is hard to explain. Communication is limited by the thought of speakers as well as language itself. When you feel unable to express your thoughts clearly, it means that you haven't thought it through yet. Quit the communication in time, or you will vent your negativity

6. Don't say things you might regret. On the Nostr protocol network, it is extremely difficult to edit or delete a post, especially if your post has already been broadcast by others. So treat others as you would like them to treat you.

7. ⚡️Zap others with sats if you like being zapped⚡️. It’s not about money. It shows what you value.

8. Praise BTC — if you want to increase your followers quickly. Because of dark forces👽
