Still want to see a good pinterest, instagram and tiktok competitor on nostr. There's so much value in visual content and we haven't even bothered scratching that surface.
Imagine the interoperability of a curation platform with a shopping platform, both contributing to the creator's sovereign identity vs fighting against one another.

Disclaimer: I was trying to figure out how to use Alby to connect to it without logging in directly with my npub and admit I still haven't wrapped my head around how to do this very well, and may not have done it right, so that could account for my difficulties.
It’s a start but needs work. I already redesigned it but it hasn’t been implemented.

in order to do a tiktok competitor well i think we’d need to figure out if/how to store user dwell info. so important for figuring out what to serve next
The things that are going to be created on Nostr are really hard to even imagine (for me) right now. It’s going to be such an experience after another few years of development.
Not until we figure out better content delivery that isn't dependent on other people hosting/delivering said content.
