I have my family and friends phone numbers and all their other socials. I will have no issues getting their npubs when they have one. I'm sure there's a great use case for what you imagine here, but you're off base if you think this is a huge problem right now.
yes, implement NIP-42 first so relays can charge and not run at a loss
and NIP-65 so people can actually find where to see notes from people they follow
