I'm baffled how clueless the airlines are.

I have a flight with delay, I'm calling the airline about when will it leave. The guy takes like 5 minutes to look it up and tells me 3pm, but I tell him the airplane is not even here (I looked up the plane registration) and won't be until 2:55pm. I ask him to look up the previous flight (I give him the previous flight code, because he doesn't know how) and he tells me "yeah, that one is now in flight and won't land until 2:55pm".

I can estimate the flight departures using my phone much better than the airport or airline...
