We have traveled a lot around the states and Canada as well. Although things have changed, we used to just pull off on a quiet spot and camp. Now you are expected to pay high ticket camping in most places. We still car camp plenty but it's different. Deffinetly just define the places we are shooting for and go direct. Much less wandering than before.

Yes! I find this about the mainland, less really rural areas. I still car camp regularly at the end of long hikes out of convenience. I’ve yet to catch any grief, but again I’m where the population is very low.

I’m still in my -stop in every cove phase. 😆
