Nostr is less frustrating when you take it for what it is, and not what could/should/expected to become.

Nostr (for the most part) is a microblogging experiment which is currently a hangout for its own devs and some BT expats, and a smattering of Other Stuffs.

Twitterx is offering a 'good enough' compromise on censorship and reach for most. And for those with Elon daddy-issues, they have Bluesky. Insta is still going strong too. That seems to be the situation atm. It can't really be seen as an alternative to these things IMO.

I think onboarding people should bear this in mind or something.

But it is an interesting experiment and it has a unique factor of being a protocol which can be built on.

Just curious if you have any thoughts on this, you mentioned working in marketing. What is the pitch of nostr, the audience? (As nostr is now).

I don't think it is mass appeal (yet?) I think there is a certain amount of realism needed, but I think there is a wide enough and growinf appeal in things like privacy, building, coding etc for the tinkering aspect of it to be an approach 🤔 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
