Wow! Package arrived fast and fresh. Two whole roots gave me 49 cuttings, and I could have made more.

Planted six around this persimmon tree. It gets loaded down with fruit year after year. Comfrey will get plenty of morning sun and afternoon shade.

19 were planted around the east side of the house, where we plan to start a forest garden. Looks like there's already some new growth starting.

There used to be a fig tree where the marigolds are. I've fucked it up so many times over the years lol. It always comes back, but this year might be different. Pumpkins are popping tho.

The remainder were planted around our young orchard of apples, peaches, and pears. They get full sun all day and produce little shade. Not sure if these cuttings will make it. Picture taken at 8:30 am.
