Discussion
#[2] might have some info
I just import them from USA
Welcome back
sorry, was busy installing new servers, can’t let the relay get overloaded this time
You try strfry yet?
strfry doesn’t run on freebsd yet so i have to setup linux servers 😓
interesting. and edge case of binary compatibility between linux and freebsd?
Switched to strfry a few days ago and have seen remarkable perf boost on our public relay.
You setup new relays?
Are you asking physically location or server itself?

You mean Data center?
Yes a good server provider in Japan with reasonably priced bandwidth 😁
What about Equinix Tokyo Data Center?
https://www.equinix.co.jp/data-centers/asia-pacific-colocation/japan-colocation/tokyo-data-centers
it looks there is the page of English version:
https://www.equinix.com/data-centers/asia-pacific-colocation/japan-colocation/tokyo-data-centers
Thanx.
I’ll take a look! Thanks
Some people in relays in Japan suggested several cloud providers which look to have enough bandwidth and good prices, such as CORESERVER V2, Xserver VPS, sakura internet cloud, etc. But the problem is the most of them provides a documentation in Japanese only. You may need a help by Japanese speakers if you would like to choose them. Otherwise Tokyo region of major cloud vendors may be a candidate if prices are ok.
one more suggestion by nostrich:
I recommend sakura internet. Overview is in Japanese only, but the control panel and manual are in English experimentally.
Unlimited bandwidth, prices start from 1 Virtual CPU / 2 GB - 2,420 Yen/month (not so cheap).
If you don't need a Japanese operator, Vultr is probably a good choice.
