No doesn’t look like it. Trying to troubleshoot. Seems like Braiins support feature might be helpful so we’ll see where that gets me. Still only seeing my fans RPM on the dashboard, nothing else. Googling every line in the kernel logs and nothing particularly helpful lol.

Found this but unsure what exactly it means…still working on it!

I don't think you have internet access then, if you can't ping out and you're getting connection refused.

Is this you life in an apartment or have some sort of shared or unique internet setup? Do you have access to your router?

I think I had a seizure 😂

Do you live in an apartment?

😂 I must have dyslexia since I didn’t even catch that and read it how you meant it

Hmm yeah interesting - own house & have my own router upstairs this is one of the Ethernet outlets downstairs. Can reboot the S9 from my laptop. Maybe I’ll try plugging in directly to the router and see if that makes a difference, even though the lights on the Ethernet port seem to be appropriate per the Antminer site (yellow on left, flashing green on right)

I don’t see any of my hashboard lights on either which is weird, thought there would be a red light on those.

Man I’m like a poor little hobbit going into battle with this stuff 😂

Is your S9 configured by DHCP or are you manually assigning an IP address to it?

ssh into it again and try to ping your router.

If your router is 192.168.1.1 try to ping it.

ping 192.168.1.1

You should get successful responses.

Ok perfect will try that as well. Seriously thanks so much for your time and help! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Just sharing in case it helps. If you really did connect to the pool for 3 seconds then it’s likely not a username:pw issue but maybe this looks like your logs. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5396806.0

Awesome thanks! Just read through that. Two things I noticed were

“OS+ has fees in it and takes hashes to pay the fees, and thus you can't secure your miner behind a secure firewall, it must talk directly to slush no matter what you do.”

Have to confirm that’s not what’s messing me up.

I will also maybe try and reinstall the firmware ultimately that seemed to fix it for him. But yeah, weird, first time I plugged it in got a few TH/s for a few seconds with a green normal light before it wound down. Hm.

Thanks again for sharing the link!
