For my engineering master thesis I developed this super light additively manufactured orthosis for treating head deformities of children. It's customized and (from what I can tell so far) has superior fit to the established products. Pretty epic stuff in my humble opinion 🥰

The shell is additively manufactured from Nylon by Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing .. this allows for these crazy complex shapes in combination with great mechanical properties.

The orthosis is composed of one shell in combination with flexible spring elements on the inside, to ensure secure and comfortable fit.
