It’s more like $250 but it’s the best sound you’ll get for the money, & having a USB connection means you don’t have to buy any other XLR equipment to get started

I got a blue yeti micro just for shits. Doing nests with that starting tonight.

If things go well I’ll spring for a setup that will include a better room setup for sure.

I can go overboard with hobby ideas. 😂

OK yeah, I found that one. I think the difference is the other one comes with a tripod. Which I’m going to need so I might as well just spend the extra 20 if this is a good quality jump off for me.

Honestly phone & headphone mics are often good enough in a quiet room. I bought the blue yeti to start & ended up kinda regretting it. I really prefer my phone to some of the sound characteristics I got with the yeti. I’m very happy with the MV7
