haha, a painful process for sure. Good luck to you!

it definitely is ego-killing for sure 😂

but it also acts as a mirror and motivates me to do more 💜

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞 at least here in germany the job market is bad right now

thanks brother, i've got around 30-40 rejections so far, but hey, it only takes one

fuck linkedin. i opened a new account with them and then because i didn't KYC they have kept sending me bullshit emails and then i go to click on them and i'm hit with a KYCwall.

uh, no.

fortunately my email client has automation for unsubscribing since they have blocked me from accessing my email subscription settings to delete all of them.

i'm boycotting them for trying to normalise KYC for non financial business. my last employer didn't even KYC me why should i let a fucking job board railroad me into KYC. no. fucking.

WAY.

if you have the privilege to do so, then sure, go for it

some of us have no other choice

linkedin is a shithole, but it's the best way to find a job because most recruiters use it

yeah, maybe for all the vibe coding javascript victims

for my preferred language, there is specialist sites now that are way better for finding something that won't make me want to vomit in my mouth.

there are couple big national job boards here too, but yeah

I also like indeed, but i don't know if this is also available in baltic

i gotta say i'm probably gonna be laughing at all the javascript and rust fans who thought their language was cool until they discover they can't get a job without giving a pint of blood and a pledge to give their firstborn to be raped and eaten.

they are all redundant, don't really do anything valuable, use shitty languages that were popularised by deception, and are insecure as fuck in production, not to mention shit slow and hard to debug.

well as somebody that wants to get into ux and web design, it's a bit different eh

yeah, that's the thing. 90% of you guys are gonna lose your jobs to AI because AIs can vomit up usable UIs much faster than a human can.

so and so

i think ux design will become even more important in the future

same as how people who can write new algorithms will become more valuable

hmm, will look into it,

well, idk what your skillset is but i have been 9 years mastering this language, and i literally started from being a homeless bastard living in amsterdam.

i knew i was taking the right path then, and then i watched all this insane shit going on and i'm like "nope, golang only. golang is the bitcoin of programming languages".

tip: if shitcoiners like it, it's probably a bad thing.

Funny

the sooner you accept you are unemployable the sooner you start a business.

in process already

Working in normie land takes its toll 😵‍💫🔫
