🙋‍♂️ I was a geek

I have seen someone’s tumbled rocks that were beautiful and thought holy shit those are just common rocks from the river???

Crazy.

Can you use a concrete mixer? I think that’s what this guy was doing…

If you have cool rocks you should show us and not be selfish.

i dont.

i was just remembering being so simple and happy, a pretty rock could capture my attention

watching a kid go through this fascination right now brings it back, pockets full of stones on every trip into the mountains and rivers

I want one as an adult!

I think I have my grandpas somewhere. Also have some of his stones too. I should look for it and see if it still works.

Yep. Now I just tumble brass, though.

im going away to rabbit hole tumbled brass now

wow. thats a whole world.

Definitely can be.

I did. I want to get one again.

My dad is a goldsmith....so yeah. Lol.

thats an interesting profession. thats cool.

sure you bet

add those different grits in sequence and leave it running in the garage for a couple days

then put them in the fish tank lol

I did.

I was a nerd and loved reading and learning all sorts of stuff. I found a book on geology and was amazed at all the little details about different minerals. My parents thought I was into rocks when I was into dense information. So they bought me a rock collection and a rock tumbler and I'm sure other rock stuff I've forgotten about.

that is funny.

same here 😆
