I think for communities alone you many have to link to some client. Have you tried satellite.earth ?

It's a regular client + also has communities. you can check it without login also

I like the font & UI of satellite.earth -- it's not the fastest but very nice to browse long threads . Also when I need json of a note, I use satellite to get that😅

nostr.kiwi is a community-only client but I've not tried it. (Not heard from it's dev also in a while).
