It's technically true but you can't compare the importance of getting rugged hard money with having a message censored (which you can republish elsewhere as many times as you want).

He's right, it's only really censorship resistant if you run your own relay. A wonderful lesson in how to think for yourself and present a counter viewpoint.

I think he's taking the skeptic position of "verify dont trust". He knows that bitcoin is censorship resistant, and he says the claims of nostr censorship resistance may be overstated. My view is that the value of nostr is owning your own identity.
