gossip is the smoothest client so far. however, the ui is definitely made by a dev. anyone know how to bring up the console so i can get at my private key on linux? also is there a way to look at someone else's friends list? cc nostr:npub1acg6thl5psv62405rljzkj8spesceyfz2c32udakc2ak0dmvfeyse9p35c
The console is where you launched gossip from (if you didn't just click an icon). Use a terminal and type "gossip" and the output will be in that terminal.
Gossip doesn't yet store other people's contact list data. We will get there eventually. Other clients found this to be important, our priorities are different, so you can do this on another client. No need to use just one.
I installed it using the deb installer which seems to contain a launch config. so I didn't realize I could run it from the terminal.
