That's something I've been thinking about

In the NFT twitter space I come from, "normie pfps" are frowned upon, but here it's vice versa

The moment i changed my pfp on here, people started to take my thoughts more seriously, and it kinda blows my mind

I wasn't speaking differently, or talking about different things

I am still just as curious, and offer my own understandings of things I'm ignorant of

Yet a simple change in pfps led to me being taken seriously and getting zapped

The conclusions I've come to is that on Twitter, NFT communities build and follow each other through the similar pfps, but on here it's more important to discover your personal value and how it can be shared with others, so having a pfp that help conveys that value is important

Still learning tho, and figuring all this stuff out

I changed my pfp on Twitter to help me connect with the communities I was engaging with

Here, I feel incentivized to use my face, and just be true to me

Don’t. Unless you are a public person this is bad opsec. Stop giving too much thought on what other people think about you.

Okay, so I've been processing what you said

My goal will inevitably lead me to having to get used to being a public figure, or at least a person in the publics eye

You're right, I do put too much thought into what others think, and need to find a happy medium

But growing up, I never cared about what others thought, and was a very toxic person

So ig, I went too far to the other extreme

I'll work on that, thank you for pointing it out, I really appreciate people like you ⚡️🫶
