That is false. Bitcoin's monetary policy is not incorruptable since it does not have coherent governance: https://medium.com/cyber-capital/the-six-principles-of-blockchain-governance-33c9b605adbb

Where is the science in this opinion article?

I would recommend into reading some of these papers ...

Bitcoin Governance - Pierre Rochard

July 8, 2018

https://nakamotoinstitute.org/mempool/bitcoin-governance/

"This environment is ripe for abuse by politicians & influencers. Who gain disproportionate power over such a system by manipulating narratives. So it is really even worse than traditional governance systems as social consensus replicates old-world politics but without the democratic vote. The real innovation, therefore, lies in on-chain governance. Where there is an objective & Sybil-resistant vote by parties with actual skin in the game. That is what truly good decentralized governance should look like"

What does science have to do with it? I am a user. I believe that I should be able to vote or participate in consensus like I can with proof of stake, for example. With bitcoin its only miners, node runners or developers who control the direction, which may not the the same as the users who don't have electricity and equipment costs for example. They may have different interests.
