Mountainlion just deleted his account, he was one of my favorite, but you are right, a lot have come back.

I don't know, he was always for Freedom and Bitcoin and stuff though, not sure why he would leave, he had been gone like 10 days before too, came back posted a couple times then deleted his account.

There are dozens of people that I enjoyed interacting with who are no longer here when I first joined. I barely miss them now.

Do not fret. If nostr continues to decentralize further and works. People will value its use and not just its users.
What about people leaving is a bad thing?
Social apps are used for , the most part, bery selfish reasons. When the app no longer serves their purpose i think its healthy as fuck for those that dont see the reason to stay, leave. Sitting around somewhere that isnt healthy for you mentally is much more of damning thing if there ever was any.
