I love to see how the work has aged over time.
This is one of nostr:nprofile1qqsx845ex2wm3cu9d8e93xm282nmpu33emyr5aufu20s5wt8sx7h6uspz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7tr2s0f 's wallets after one year of regular use.
Not a single stitch out of place. It's the best wallet I've ever owned, and I bought it with Bitcoin. Worth each and every one of 210,000 sats.

And today he's only asking for 100k sats and it's probably double the quality.

And it looks like the product pictures are of this very wallet when it was minted.

Beautiful work.
Yeah, this guy has to room with my keys when in my pocket, but I honestly like the worn look. The leather also gets super soft and pliable over time, and doesn't affect the cards much or at all.
One think I wonder about is, that if credit cards go out of business because of Bitcoin, will I just have a ton of tapsigners in my wallet instead?
The leather thing itself would be your private key. I put satschips that are basically Tapsigners inside some of my wallets.
Basically I think people will pay to have the most beautiful and unique private keys in the form of wallets or bags.
That's probably the future of signing devices and leathermint. We're gonna need many leathermints.
I would love to carry around a bespoke talisman with some good heft that I sign transactions and messages with, when that becomes common. Reprogrammable or replaceable chip, and it becomes an heirloom pretty easily.
I think about how very serious transactions may happen between rich folk or families, and if "signing ceremonies" will become a think. With all the pomp and circumstance of a Japanese tea ceremony, but to transfer Bitcoin in full view of all involved. You'd need way fancier signers in such a situation than plastic coldcards.
Exactly men. Exactly. I'm positioning myself to be one of those who makes those heirlooms.
See my DM about the NTAG 424 DNA chips. It makes sense to replace a debit card with a debit card. The future is layered. The base layer cannot and should not scale for common transactions for a number of reasons. Maybe you all aren't bullish enough😏
It wouldn't be for common transactions. We're talking about the kind of people who can pay 10 grands or more for a signing device.
I believe Bitcoin in my lifetime will be worth over $100M. I'm 42.
In that reality a single transaction will cost thousands on chain.
If everyone in the world wanted to ha e a single on chain TX it would literally take a lifetime for everyone to get one. Anyone on L1 in the future will have unfathomable wealth and those kinds of transactions will be done with convenience being the last thing on their list of priorities.
A beautiful signing device is not convenience. It's luxury. Perfect for the people you're describing.
Maybe the tap signers threw me off. I'm cashflow negative due to my large family and modest salary that isn't keeping up to the inflation, but I do have savings and it's 100% Bitcoin. I even withdrew all my RRSPs etc. that said, my cold storage is extremely locked down. I don't like anything wireless or unencrypted. Obviously the seedphrase must have an unencrypted copy to be truly robust but that need not be all in one place and should be in the best material for such things.
That said, you have beautiful products and I'm sure there will be many uses for a wallet or wallet like accessory.
Bolt cards.
