Arguably the most important key

I have some work colleagues with BMIs that haven’t been in check for years. They keep telling me about all the healthy salads they eat

me:

To be fair. According to BMI I’m overweight. 6’ 2” 200lb. But for me it’s mostly muscle 😂

Totally agree with you. BMI is not an accurate measure for athletes, people who train consistently

I was trying to find a polite way to describe my colleagues 😂

I figured 😂 all good. Totally understand what you meant by the comment!

While that is true, 99.9% of the population are not athletes that defy a BMI. Notably would be a professional running back, right? They’re 6’0 215lbs with 8% body fat. However, When you go to your job, apply a vague BMI to everyone and you’ll see most people are just overweight. It serves as a general principle.

I guess if you’re looking to be a bit more specific you could say BMI + Body composition. That would be a more accurate measure
