Torba also believes building "based AI" is the future and more important than maintaining his site, among many other idiotic claims over the years, so I wouldn't put much stock into what he says.

Gab should be broadcasting to Nostr but they can’t see it yet. Gab would be the number one Nostr client over night. It would freak out the moderates on here and the anti Christians.
It used to be in the Fediverse but defederated itself intentionally for Lord knows what. Something tells me he wouldn't go for having it linked to Nostr.
I've noticed a bunch of blocked words seems to have been included in Amethyst by default. I certainly don't remember adding them.
Relay censorship is far more concerning, though. It wouldn't be easy for the average person to know what relays are censoring, if they learn about the censorship at all. It's effectively a shadowbanning system for Nostr which is not cool in the least.
