My stance comes primarily from the fact that not everyone tries to normalize their mental illness, or even express how "proud" of it they are, among other disgusting things (dark fedi/pediverse will legitimately drive you to want to kill); the focus should be on those that AREN'T like that, while also still acknowledging that there are a frighteningly sizable amount of people that you shouldn't hesitate to kill on sight, if necessary for the safety of children.

There aren't only Scoundrels within that group, that's all I'm saying. Don't disagree with anything else you've said.

I think choosing to recognize and still actively possess and not attempt to get rid of any mental illness is an attempt at normalizing it. I know that’s probably convoluted to read but it’s the best way that I can fathom to word it.

If these people aren’t attempting to live outside of all society they’re doing a disservice to society.

Society only makes sense as a means to keep women and children safe from harm. The person in the original thread doesn’t think that they need to be protected from anyone because there is no cognitive spectrum.

There definitely are bad people in more groups than that one. I’m saying that this person tries to diminish his wrong doing by referring to himself as a scoundrel. Not just as a handle but as a fake pejorative.
