I have not actively used Ubuntu for the better part of a decade and I'm quite content in my decision to forgo Canonical products.

I started with RedHat too way back... 😃

I've always had an irrational hatred for Ubuntu. Perhaps it wasn't so irrational after all... 🤔

My late father used Ubuntu as his daily driver for over a decade. With the default desktop environment it really is so easy even a Boomer could use it.

Snaps, though, were a mistake.

I used Ubuntu a long time ago and is was very good for its time. I stopped using it when they started sending search data off to Amazon.

I used it briefly, but the out of date libraries did my head in long before Canonical became a spyware company.

Their passion for UX was great for onboarding, and its a skill set I'm totally lacking! :-D
