Yes but a mobile node with a single private channel for making payments experiencing a force close is much less problematic the issues encountered when running a routing node with dozens of public channels.

“Run a node that gives you flexibility in case of uncertainty and only open the amount of channels you’re comfortable with” is not memeable.

You can educate people without shutting on the idea.

It's bad advice to simply say "run a node"
