"Swipe right to apply". Dates are Interviews. Qualifications built arround performance reviews rather than degrees. Talent acquisition becomes more "team fit" than DEI fulfillment. I'm just spitballing here but I feel this could fit the hypermuslim vibe better than the current LN culture.

The great thing about it would also be that customer satisfaction and feedback could be expressed publicly, if we use Nostr for that. Not traditional job references, but uncensorable, undeletable online reviews that would remain available for a long time through the appropriate relays. Just imagine the quality pressure something like that would create. This alone would attract a whole different level of service providers and freelancers.
tbh, it would create a vetting industry. Would improve business professionalism and increase demand for top tallent.
And this could happen organically or as a service by such an "app".
This is a winner. Reckon there’s enough Muslims out there who are sick of the non productive digital products and services out there, and want to create/engage with something substantial. Particularly like the prospect of having our own job markets - we need better ways to connect people

I wonder if smartwidgets would funtionally work for a something like a job requesition post? Would then just need a client dedicated to rendering them (maybe swipe through style lol). Not sure if any nee NIP is even necessary...
I don't think smart widgets is the right tool for that. But, we are free to create/propose any NIP we need and implement a client for that.
The MVP would be something, which expands the existing profile with additional fields, such as skills, experience, etc. And the actual job posts could use just NIP1, meaning normal notes.
Later, if this kicks off, things could be refined ofc.
Maybe I'm overthinking it, but wouldn't NIP1 for a job post be indistinguishable from non-job posts (gotta filter out the "GM"s)?
Right, but would that be a bad thing? That way regular Nostr clients would also display the job listings. For the LN-like client to only display the job listings you'd need to use a hashtag. Just like Swarmstr only shows notes with the hashtag # asknostr.
But that's just an MVP. Something that's good enough to start.
