Ok. Confirmed it is a ProRes issue by trying to open it in iMovie (🤣). Some newer Apple iOS devices can decode, but not legacy hardware. Best to export the movie to a distribution friendly codec (mp4) and reupload.

14 pro wins again

Apple does not mess around with their silicon division.

Well, they did a whole lot of messing around first I assume…

Great detective work all, and good to know for future potential issues. Glad it is an Apple format issue..

Glad I could help, thanks for nostr.build

I got both #[5] and #[4] in the same thread. I am the one thanking you both for all the work you are doing. I use your services daily.

I am obsessed with Nostr, not entirely sure why. Is this the new web?

I’m on a 12, does that mean I need to upgrade already?!? Is it legacy hardware.. Apple!!.. 🤦‍♂️

ProRes was mainly created for the video post-production industry, then adopted in production. Have stopped following the development, but I remember seeing something about using it for distribution as well. The compatibility must come down to the solutions they can build straight into the chip.
