There are client developers building on nostr who speak of the “freedom of protocols”.

You should understand that some of them are not referring to human freedom, or protecting it.

The freedom they are referring to is entirely self serving, and refers to their ability to not have to build according to the rules of an existing platform. They don’t care at all about preserving human liberty outside of their own aims.

You would do well to know who they are, and avoid what they are building.

The freedom is only one in the end, and can be applied on many things.

Maybe we need a NOSTR Client Freedom Chart?

It's even worse in Bitcoin. Loads of narrow special interests salivating over ways to exploit and steal your Bitcoin.

The virtuous #Bitcoin #fullnodes and virtuous Bitcoin supporters have got to come together and protect their interest and dominance of Bitcoin.

This is how Satoshi designed the security and sustainability of Bitcoin. We now need a organization or group that all of the virtuous Bitcoin supporters can join or be a part of.

So we can access the full power and resources of our community to protect Bitcoin's virtues, purity and sustainability. I think that organization should be called "The Bitcoin Mint". But any effective group name for us will do.

I think #Satoshi may have planned for something like this to happen when needed..🧡👑🗽

#Bitcoin #TheBitcoinMint #BTC #BTCmint #TBM #askTBM #askBitcoin

Check the code not the person. Nice people who share your belief system can also rug your nsec.

I think he means people will make a super nice client that ends up perverting the protocol in irrecoverable ways, like Primal.
