Much like hardware wallets having a "bitcon-only firmware" having an ad-free option is a not enough to not cloud your judgment, incentives and focus.

Better results, no censorship (according to them), advanced features like lenses (custom search filters), focus on privacy, very fast and lightweight ui, ai page conclusion, and more
But most important is the better search result quality imo

That is going to be a challenge. Privacy focused people already use hardened browsers, alias identities, containers/sandboxes, duckduckgo. Thusbwill be interesting to watch.
I'd consider if I could use my nostr account and pay with lightning.
