I was reading nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n post on Layer 2 and came to this prediction:

There is a very good chance, that Apple, as much as we hate them, will be the ones who set the standard for Layer 2.

The problem with Apple, at the layered 2, whenever they decide to join they will have a huge impact on the market and people will shift regardless of what has been adopted. They have disrupted markets like this many times before.

They probably won’t call it sats, they won’t call it zaps. They probably will call it iSomething and that will be the default of layer 2.
