I deleted Facebook in 2018. Never got Instagram. Feel like most of my IRL friends are on one of those. It’s hard to stay connected with my friends. There’s definitely something self-ostracizing (pun intended) about only having #Nostr. But I don’t think I can do social media any other way.

I totally feel the same. Ditched fb years back, never even went on twitter, insta etc. All my friends and family stayed on fb and I don't know anyone here in real life, but Nostr only for me.

FB only family here, too. Deleted that way back, tried twitter for a minute, did instagram for a while but 2020 election nonsense broke me. I like it here.

I second this! I deactivated FB and insta 2019 I think. I am desperate to delete my FB messenger but struggling bcoz it is the only way family contacts me! My Tiktok is still on for awareness purposes but I am not consuming content from there. One day at a time. But I am active here every day! I do not want to change #nostr for the world! 🤓

That would be tough, my family used a separate messaging app, so that wasn't an issue.
