Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less.

If you believe that your experiences and achievements define your fulfillment and success, you may be mistaken. Such a mindset often serves to inflate the ego rather than foster true growth. Humility reminds us that we are always evolving and that our accomplishments are not the ultimate goal.

Some individuals become so identified with their jobs, achievements, and the people they have helped that they develop an arrogance that blinds them to the value of others' insights. This can lead to shutting down those who genuinely wish to offer help, simply because they feel they know better.

what a beautiful line~!

humility is important for everyone, but as a man in an FLR it's foundational, especially to maintain harmony in the dynamic. humility is a mindset shift required to keep the ego in check, which allows for a more genuine connection.

a humble attitude also encourages a servant leadership mentality in which fulfilling my Wife's needs is a privilege rather than an obligation. and when these needs change, listening to and accepting Her feedback helps me grow.

humility is something i'm always working on. what an excellent post, Lady Mae~! :3
