I saw that, but I'd want the option of making a public relay should I ever want/need to. So the own pubkey part is holding it back for me. Fine as a default, but i'd like more options than that.

While Haven v2 may incorporate whitelisting multiple npubs, and there are requests for optional aggregator relays for npubs followed by the owner as per your comment above, at its heart Haven is a specialised personal relay and I prefer not to blur the lines too much. Fiajaf, Utxo and Kayhan have other Khatru-based relays that may be a better fit. Also, Nostr has some popular non-Khatru-based relays like strfry and nostream that have mature ecosystems around them and can be adapted to do pretty much anything by folks with the proper DevOps skills.
