Update. The bogs are not quite frozen. Can confirm depth of Chip thigh high. 
Cold. You stay dry or did it become miserable?
Thankfully everything froze immediately after exiting the bog - I booted out of the woods - about an 1hr out. When I started to thaw in the car I was glad to be almost home. 🥶
