I'm listening to the Saylor/Saif podcast, and I'm realizing that Saylor is a Bitcoin maxi and a shitcoin maxi. I have a lot of disorganized and incoherent thoughts around that.

He represents a cohort of the current system that recognize the value of Bitcoin, accumulate Bitcoin, and refuse to let go of it. The only way that works is to collateralize the Bitcoin and maximize economic transactions in shitcoins (shares, bonds, fiat, stablecoins, shitcoins, etc.).

So long as the world can be scammed into transacting in shitcoin, They will never stop stacking for free.

Saylor is making the same case as Bitstein did in 2014: that Everyone's a Scammer, even you. Bitcoin maximalists can and should play the same game, stack for free by holding Bitcoin and transacting shitcoin; perform the speculative attack.

Build Bitcoin slowly and steadily until it technologically eclipses every shitcoin in existance, and no one can reasonable be convinced to forego Bitcoin.

💯 turning point will be when producers of high quality stuff refuse to be paid in anything but bitcoin.

It's going to be a grind for sure, but we need to keep stacking and keep hodling and keep fighting the FUD and psyops.

Agreed

Interesting take. ⚡️🫡

Thanks, I think there's a lot more to learn from Saylor that provides some grounding to standard pie-in-the-sky hyperbitcoinization narratives. It's not that he's trying to destroy Bitcoin, he's trying to teach us how to win by keeping one foot in the current game and one foot out of it. It's a lot to think about.

Playing both sides. Well let’s see how will this unfolds in the future with that. ⚡️🫡

Q: How can one be #bitcoin maxi AND shitcoin maxi?

A: They can't!
