You can export your followers but it’s not the same account.
Also the admin can stop you from doing it.
Yeah, it always seemed like digital feudalism to me over there.
Nostr solves the need for a permanent, non-censorable identity. There are some ways in which Mastodon is better, but they’re not nearly as fundamental as the identity problem.
