The juxtaposition of requiring extremely concrete relationships between the vaccine and death, so that they can say “only 81 cases” when it’s blatantly obvious that the real number is in the many, many 10s of thousands with even an elementary attempt to take an honest picture of the problem.

While they turn around with the most frivolous, made up fairy tale that their vaccine “saved 6.5 million lives and stopped the pandemic” is just fucking incredible.
