My question is why? I don't want the state talking to my kids about sex, sexuality or more than the two genders. What's this bloke going to do, perv on them?..

I teach adults and the last thing I want them thinking about is my sexual preferences. Classrooms should be venues for students’ intellectual growth not teachers’ identity politics.

It is you who says it is about the identity of the teacher. Actually it is about the ability to articulate for the kids.
