Completely agree, BUT fructose bound up with easily passable fiber (and relatively low oxalates) make it a low inflammatory food. Fructose is less efficient to break down to simple sugars. Couple this with anecdotes I’ve heard from many keto/paleo/carnivores with long term electrolyte imbalances and decreased full nights of sleep: adding small amounts of carbohydrates in the later half of a feeding window can help with fluid retention thru the night and help replenish glycogen stores. Add one banana to a healthy array of offal, fatty cuts of clean meat and water and you are certainly better off than feeding on a SAD. If you really need to fight cancer, only the nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak diet might be the ticket. If you want the benefits of low inflammation foods such as SOME fruits in moderation, I think bananas are far better than apples.
