Gonna import my whole twitter history using exit pub soon. Any stories of success or failure to share?

How well does it work when you give it a one point five gigameg file nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft?
it's all client side, so up to your hardware's specs 😅
the ids are deterministic, so, if it fails, you can retry idempotently
it's fairly fault-tolerant:
some relays rate limiting you; if no relay accepts your event five times in a row it assumes that you might need to wait a bit and it will stop trying and ask you to continue a bit later
Got it. Will report back.
also, include wss://relay.exit.pub since it's configured to be generous with these limits 😉
I couldnt do it... too much cringe
While at it you can upload them to Acrhive.org as well: https://help.archive.org/help/how-to-archive-your-tweets-with-the-wayback-machine/

What’s the point of importing old stuff, who’s gonna read it anyway. No one. Get a blog instead.
😂
Before you exit, make sure to encourage the others. 😎

I was going to suggest something even more powerful to my top 5 Twitter/X followers: one of whom i THINK is you (not sure):
Basically we should create "Nostr Tuesday" - you publish your interesting content to Nostr and then screenshot/link it to all Twitter posts you make on that day, but with Twitter/Xreplies switched off and an invite to all to just "come and see" the conversation on Nostr.
You would change the world like that!
You in? :D
I run TweetDelete every January 1st, not sure I’ve ever posted anything there worth retaining. 🤷🏻♂️
