Great 4 hour conversation with a mentor today. He told me the story of how the state wrongfully imprisoned him for 27 years. His wife was imprisoned for over 12. His children were all imprisoned varying between 3-10 years. The state took land and cattle that had been in the family for generations

I asked him how he made it through?

One word.

“Love”

He then told me, better they did this to me than me to them. A perspective I can’t really comprehend. Some of the best / spiritual individuals I’ve ever met. I can’t say I would’ve responded the same way

Remember, the state wants to steal your time, which in turn is your life!
