This is a weird question but have any of you ever had your armpits stinking almost permanently? As soon as I wash mine they already smell bad in like 30 min. I’ve been using aluminum-free deodorant for years, maybe I just need to go back to the regular stuff

Wife said I need to chill on the coffee, it might be messing with my hormones… but I can’t let #coffeechain down

Wellnessmama has an armpit detox regime that involves clay - maybe try that?

It may be food related though.. perhaps see if you have seed oils and other processed stuff in the diet - that can make things worse…

Thank you I’ll check it out, no seed oils though in my diet, not much processed stuff either

Good luck! I’m sure it will pass

i suspect it's from carbohydrates...

in a non-diabetic person, the sugars are synthesised into fats and these are nasty ass fats that clog up your heart and one of the ways the body eliminates things from the body is through the pores

i have had a persistent but slowly remitting parasite problem, this little tiny dust sized thing called demodex mites, they are real bastards, in the dark and especially at night the males are running around your skin hunting females, and they cavorting entails all kinds of tweaking of nerves and bumping of hairs and whatnot... i developed this problem while i was in Amsterdam december 2019, it was an extremely warm, humid winter that year, just before the pandemic hit...

this parasite feeds on fats, and is very fond of yecchy stuff like what makes a bad smell, so i am pretty sure this is a result somehow related to my ongoing blood sugar regulation problem

one of the things i have found makes my skin really nice is cacao butter and another is beef dripping (tallow)... i think goat tallow is quite good too - sheep tallow is a bit soft and more like lard, gives more greasy appearance and has a stronger smell

Could be sugar, I do eat too much of it. I use lard on my hands it does work well. Thank you for the response

sugar is evil evil evil, worse than cocaine

the whole world is addicted to it and yet they don't realise it

👋 I found this guy at a farmers market in Saskatchewan. BEST natural products I’ve found for dem spicy pits. Pretty long lasting - I know it’s expensive looking but it’s in CAD.

Nice thank you

Wow some very interesting responses here. I was going to advise simply shaving or at least trimming any armpit hair. Bushy pits are definitely more smelly than trimmed.

I heard someone else suggest it could be the hair itself. I may try that thank you

Yeah you might want to explore dietary causation. Might be coffee, but might be something else that you are eating that ia effecting your hormones.

Yeah the nostriches seem to think it’s sugar

Good place to start

Have you tried eliminating carbohydrates and going carnivore for a while? See if that helps. If it does, you'll know it's likely something's you're eating

No I should cut out sugar, it’s so hard though lolz

I’m a recovering sugar addict. I know the struggle

Eliminating seed oils and added sugars did wonders for my hygiene. Things like cooking with butter, homemade ghee, lard, beef tallow and avoiding processed boxed food and fast food chains.

I do all that, my weakness is sugar

I don't know if sugar alone can cause incessant BO, but I'm not a physician. I hope you can figure it out and smell amazing soon.

Lmao thanks

I'm inclined yo ask when your body odor problem arose?

About a month ago. I used a sugar scrub that seemed to knock it back a bit. And it’s not my entire body, just the pits

My next question is: Did you change your diet in anyway around that time?

I don’t think so, not much changed

I use a homemade armpit spray with magnesium oil, Sovereign Silver, and some essential oils (Things like tea tree and lavender are antibacterial. Oils like Frankincense, sandalwood, and myrrh have a nice smell). You could try that.

Working on getting a balanced gut bacteria with pro- and pre-biotics might also help. You might have a micro-biome imbalance.

Thank you I think my wife has all that stuff I’ll see if you may could make some. And yes the diet is something to look at, I’m mostly healthy, too much sugar though
