I mean if no one ever innovated with bitcoin, firstly youd not have your mnemonics no 12/24 words for you better remember your entire private key or keep that wallet.dat file around.

This is a dangerous stance, bitcoin needs to iterate.

If it had never iterated, it wouldnt be what it is now.

And by no means am I advocating for constant quick updates.

Slow steady progress is the way.

The only wrong answer i think, is complete ossification.

Yes. BVnad post prompted this. I appreciate your take. Well presented. Central point that I'm aiming at is the frustrated devs and arb/finanialize bros have been the main characters in bitcoin's rise; but the future is the common man, working and saving, taking personal responsibility and self custody their bearer asset. This has to be to ultmate end point, not a "toy" for niche players to mess around with.
