Ive posted this before but it begs repeating:

Our minds struggle with large numbers that aren’t relevant in our day to day lives. The number of pine needles on a tree vs the quantity of sand particles on a beach. Its just a lot.

To put these large numbers in perspective,

1 million seconds is ~11.5 days. (.317th of a yr)

1 billion seconds is ~31.7 years

1 Trillion seconds is ~31,700 years.

The US debt increased by a trillion dollars in the first 100 days of this year.
