I haven't used a Passport, but heard it's really good with QRs.
Jade was amazing at reading QRs, but due to its small screen size, reading QRs back from it was a challenge.
I used the same hand-drawn seed that was recognizable by Jade in a matter of seconds, but CC Q couldn't recognize it. I think it's due to a difference in standards, rather than a shortcoming in CC Q's scanning ability.
CC Q is good at reading, but doens't do a good job of producing a scannable QR for signing transactions and this is despite its bigger screen. It is only a small improvement over Jade (classic) when it comes to transaction signing.
I have the hardware for making a nostr:nprofile1qyx8wumn8ghj7cnjvghxjmcpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqqg8je9kf0ajpnffclpx087njugv5vp0psjqfdeh9zuxvukmk0xw5qqpfw6hy , but haven't assembled it yet. Once I know, I'll happily share the results.
