I will occasionally smoke the leaves. I like to mix with marijuana to roll a joint.

I've never tried hyssop

I harvest at any time. I'm not sure if first year or second year growth is better. I haven't noticed any difference in flavor, smoked or in tea.

The flowers and roots are also used by some, I haven't tried this.
