So I went and had a look at how much they cost:

600: $3900

700:$2900

Crayon-eater math says those could be worth $40000 to $240,000 by January.

I'm sticking to buying just the stock though as I feel call options are a bit too decadent for me right now and I still don't understand exactly how they work.

I'm these moments, I asked myself, what would Warren Buffett do. He once said cash is like a perpetual call option with no expiration. He only sells premiums on cash to buy at lower prices.

Imagine this scenario, Jon:

QQQ crashes due to historic P/E ratios (1929 repeat)

Bond market crashes

Real estate values crash due to impossibly high bond yields.

Even Bitcoin crashes because every bit of leverage has been wiped out of the system, and the major financial institutions are bleeding retail dry first.

MSTR MNav trades at least than 1 for a few days.

No one understands what's happening, we don't even trust what the ticker prices are telling us from minute to minute.

I sound like a major orange piller. But I think it's important to say these are uncharted waters. No need to risk losing our valuable time saved when Bitcoin is all we needed.

Yeah, I decide against calls. I didn't think the risk was worth it financially and mentally. I need to be able to sleep at night.

My winning strategy so far has simply been to buy and hold and not worry about the day to day prices (even if I like looking at them!).

Did you stick to your decision still? :-D

Been a while since I checked here. I didn't sell any calls or puts or any options trading.

I did however sell all the #mstr I held in my pension and moved it entirely to #SWC

I'll either be ok or broke.

Ok ok I had to laugh.

that's so awesome 😎

Pedal to the metal. Nature rewards the brave 😁 .

I would probably do the same in your case. There is something about Bitcoin that should be more local. It feels like you're supporting your own neighbors and drawing UK into Bitcoin versus building an American company.

maybe it's catching on over there and your story is shared.I monitor the SWC & BTC channel stuff just because I have a good gut feeling for them. I also love the side story of the underdog Aquus exchange.

I bet it works out great.

Yeah me too. Although this week has been brutal on the share price the underlying operation and stacking is going really well. I have a long time preference so it doesn't matter really. 5 years this could be insanely good. Just like mstr was.

Andrew has mentioned in several interviews that there are opportunistic or even bad actors, I assume in the UK BTCTCs... Do you know who he is referring to?

I'm not sure really. But apparently there's a lot of trash talking on the LSE website. I just ignore it all and let the magic happen.

Good strategy. I still engage in low IQ trash-talking about people sometimes but I do admire people who talk ideas and stay above the fray
